The Challenge
Sam, a 25-year-old who works for an environmental non-profit, was diagnosed with ADHD in his early twenties. He felt like he was constantly struggling to get his life together. Overwhelmed and scattered, he jumped from one task to the next at work, often completing things at the last minute. For years, he’d been searching for the “perfect planner,” trying countless apps and notebooks, hoping one would finally help him get organized. His latest hyperfocus was setting up Todoist after a friend’s recommendation, but like with all his other attempts, he was struggling to stick with it.
The Progress
Since completing our ADHD workshop, Sam no longer feels overwhelmed and scattered each day. He has developed a planner system that he trusts and no longer feels the need to keep starting fresh with a new one. In week two of our program, we teach participants how to make their planner and calendar systems work for them, transforming them from a source of stress into a helpful tool. We debunk the myth of the “perfect planner” and show that the way you use your planner is far more important than the specific one you choose. Our program provides the four essential ingredients for getting the most out of any planning system.
